2. Lac Vert - Avoriaz / Mossette circuit

Starting from the Avoriaz plateau, this footpath begins with a fairly steep climb up to the ridge. Once you reach the Brochaux waterfall, take the Mossettes chairlift. The green lake, perched at an altitude of 1972 metres, will gradually reveal itself, along with a nearby refuge. From the lake, the Col Chésery marks the boundary between France and Switzerland and takes you to the Col de Rochasson. Take in the changing scenery on this 10-kilometre, 3.5-hour hike in Avoriaz, with a vertical drop of 1,030 metres. For your return, take the Lindarets chairlift.

3. Mines de la Lapiaz

Take a family hike in Avoriaz and discover the Mines de la Lapiaz. Starting in the Falaise district, this trail takes you up to the mine lookout.
