Whether you ride, love rock music or are simply passing through, here is everything you need to know about the 10th Harley Days in Morzine-Avoriaz.

Still wondering whether to make the trip? The BARNES Portes du Soleil team rounds up the festival highlights, a preview of the 2026 line-up and the finest motorbike roads to enjoy it like a local.

The highlights of the Morzine Harley Days

Spread between the centre of Morzine and the resort of Avoriaz, the festivities bring the village to life in mid-July. To help you plan ahead, here is an overview of the festival highlights.

  • Saturday 11 July, the festival opens on the Grande Scène, place de l’office de tourisme, with the opening ceremony followed by the Ben l’Oncle Soul concert.
  • Sunday 12 July, the rock concerts continue on the Grande Scène with Girlband! then The Subways, while the first motorbike rides head out towards Lake Geneva and the Savoyard passes.
  • Monday 13 July, the festival reaches its peak, with the Custom Bike Show in front of the Grande Scène, the grand parade riding into Morzine from Avoriaz in the late afternoon, the Louis Bertignac concert and the fireworks display.
  • Tuesday 14 July, the events continue for one last day with the exhibitors’ village, the free motorbike test rides and the Wall of Death, place de la Poste.

Nearly 70,000 visitors and a village transformed

Beyond these highlights, the Morzine Harley Days stand out as one of the major Harley-Davidson gatherings in the Alps. Held every two years, the event drew nearly 70,000 visitors from across Europe at its last edition.

For four days, Morzine, a peaceful mountain village known for its winter sports, takes on a new face. From the rue du Bourg to the place de la Poste, stalls, chrome and leather take over the village centre, while the American brand offers free motorbike test rides at the Palais des Sports.

The Harley Days boost Morzine’s profile well beyond the ski season, to the point that the resort’s accommodation books up fast during the festival.

To get a good view of the parade, find a spot in the centre of Morzine, where the procession arrives from Avoriaz in the late afternoon. The view is clear and the atmosphere stays family-friendly.

The 2026 music line-up and its free concerts

Music takes centre stage throughout the festival. Each evening, the Grande Scène on the place de l’office de tourisme hosts free concerts open to all, where rock meets soul. The 2026 edition features several headline acts.

  • Ben l’Oncle Soul, who sets the Grande Scène alight on opening night.
  • The Subways, whose punk-rock energy comes straight from England.
  • Louis Bertignac, who lights up the closing night, just before the fireworks.

Alongside the main stage, the Harley Bar on the place de la Poste keeps the nights going with bands such as Plan C and Dixie Micks, before DJ Fast Arthur’s closing set. From the Grande Scène to the Harley Bar, these concerts bring bikers and families together in a warm, festive atmosphere.

In terms of atmosphere, festival-goers remember above all the sheer density of motorbikes, the free access to the site and the concerts, and the many stalls. This open, welcoming spirit has built the reputation of the Harley Days, a summer favourite far beyond the world of bikers.

The finest motorbike rides around Morzine

The festival extends well beyond the village of Morzine, as it is the perfect chance to ride some of the finest roads in Haute-Savoie, between Alpine lakes and passes. Each day, several guided rides are organised from €43, lunch included. To take part, simply sign up on site or online with the organising clubs.

  • The Motard’Aulps club offers heritage rides in small groups of up to 30 people, towards sites such as Yvoire, the Gorges du Pont du Diable or the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard.
  • The Alpes Spirit Chapter takes riders on longer itineraries, from the Émosson dam on Saturday to Lake Geneva on Sunday, via Les Gets, the Col de la Ramaz and the Praz de Lys.

These routes run alongside some of the most beautiful stretches of water in the region, which we already covered in our article on the most beautiful lakes around Les Gets.

For the Alpes Spirit Chapter’s longer itineraries, set aside a full day, lunch included, as the longest route reaches 241 km. Rides leave in the morning from the Grande Scène, so arrive early to set off with the group.
